THIS FRENCH OFFICERS EPEE WAS A PICKUP FROM THE FIELD OF WATERLOO BY SERGEANT MAJOR EDWARD COTTON AND IN HIS MUSEUM AT WATERLOO UNTILL SOLD IN 1909
IT WAS LATER IN THE SULLY COLLECTION AND BROADSTAIRS WATERLOO MUSEUM UNTILL DECESSIONED IN 1999 AND HAS BEEN IN STORAGE SINCE
THE GUNMETAL HILT HAS A WIREBOUND GRIP AND ORNATE SHELLGUARD WITH MUCH VERDIGIS OVERALL & HAS A SMALL HOLE WHICH IS SURMISED TO BE FROM ANOTHER SWORD POINT IN COMBAT OR BAYONET LUNGE
